Our Mission: A Smoother Ride for Jamaica
Who are we? We're Jamaican citizens dedicated to improving lives in Jamaica's rural and semi-urban areas by tackling the island's crumbling roads, one pot hole at a time. Learn how we're driving economic growth and ensuring safer journeys for all Jamaicans. Join us in paving the way to a better future.

Addressing a Critical Need
We have experienced the devastating impact of neglected roads. In rural and urban areas, roads in disrepair hinder economic growth, delay the delivery of essential goods and services, and, following disastrous events like Hurricane Melissa, make daily life even more challenging. The Jamaican government has made strides in fixing major highways, and should be applauded, but many rural communities have been waiting decades for road repairs, while citizens are left isolated from commerce and development. Pot Hole Fixers of Jamaica is here to help bridge that gap one pot hole at a time.

Our Core Purpose
Pot Hole Fixers of Jamaica is a Christian organization with a singular focus: fixing pot holes to improve the road conditions for Jamaicans, this will foster a better experience for everyone and boost the economy of rural Jamaica. While we don't aim to replace the government's responsibilities, we're dedicated to assisting communities where the need is overwhelming and have not received assistance in decades. We rely solely on the generosity of local and those in the Jamaican diaspora for donations to achieve our goal of improving every road in rural Jamaica and fixing pot holes in towns whenever possible. As a non-profit, all proceeds are used solely for their intended purpose. We operate with volunteers and skilled labor, and will hire workers using donations received.

A Matter of Life and Death
We want you to feel the urgency to help fix Jamaica's roads. For too long, people have been unable to benefit from safe roads. This is more than just an inconvenience; it's a matter of life and death. In 2023, Jamaica recorded 425 road fatalities, a decrease from the 488 in 2022. Figures for 2025 show a concerning rise, with 312 fatalities reported up to mid-October, which is higher than the same period in 2024. Historically, an average of over 350 persons have been killed on the roads each year for the past five years.
